Ichijoin (Koyasan, Wakayama, Japan) - Shukubo Review

I visited the 'Shukubo' when I toured Koyasan.

Koyasan is the sacred place of the Shingon sect. Kobo Daishi Kukai has opened some temples as a venue for training during the Heian Period. Many people come there to look around some temples.

If you wanna stay in Koyasan, I'd like you to stay at a "Shukubo".
To stay at a Shukubo means To stay at a "Temple".
Many temples wish you to know about temples and Buddhism. So they try to teach about Buddhism to accept guests and get them a experience of "Training".

In Koyasan, many temples provide "Shukubo" service. The reason I select Ichijoin from them is the "dishes".
When we stay at "Shukubo", we eat "Shojin Ryouri"(namely Vegetarian food). Ichijoin is famous of the Delicious vegetarian cuisine.

This is the room. Very clean!

Here is the dinner. Of course there are no meat or fish. But the dishes are very very delicious. Even if you love meat very much, you will be satisfied with the vegetarian food.

I reserved the room with jalan.net .
